Comment: I can honestly say that I did the induction program for three weeks straight and I combined it with a lot of cardio exercise and I lost 22lbs. I didn't really use any of the receipes listed in the book instead I took the idea and made it my own. I just kept the carbs really low each day and cut out the sugar. You can't cheat though. My co-worker started it with me and he would make exceptions here and there and he only lost a fifth of what I lost. My personal opinion is that the Atkins diet is great for fast weight-loss but it should only be done for the short-term. Just make sure that you eat healthy once you come off the Induction phase and you won't have a problem keeping the weight off (I haven't had a problem yet).

I don't have a lot of time to read so I really enjoy listening to the subjects I am interested in.
I am a believer in Atkins. I had used it years ago and lost 60+ lbs. This book takes it further and teaches you how to change your life style to keep it off.
