Shortly after his arrival in the United States, a Japanese business tycoon mysteriously disappears. Then a valuable samurai sword, said to have belonged to the missing tycoon's family for generations, is stolen from an auction gallery in New York. Danger confronts them constantly as the Hardy Boys search for the solution to the puzzle.

Summary: The Hardy Boys: The Mystery of the Samurai Sword
Comment: This book is about two teenagers who try to to find a very rare sword that is missing from a museum. There are plenty of suspects, but using the few clues they have, they catch the thief. This is another one of Franhklin W. Dixon's good book It is exciting from the start, and I think you will like it.

Summary: Not Bad, But Below Average
Comment: A reclusive Japanese business tycoon that Mr. Hardy has been hired to protect, disappears shortly after arriving in the U.S. With their father's reputation tarnished, Frank and Joe set out to find the missing man and to locate a stolen samurai sword that used to belong to the tycoon's family. Not really much to rave about or complain about with this book. A so-so plot and a moderate amount of action. For those who have enjoyed most of the Hardy Boy's books you probably won't find this book a waste of time, but for those who only buy the books that they think that they will like, I wouldn't recommend this one.
