Comment: This book is referred to in Dr Bob and the Good Old Timers on page 151. I have been reading it for years and almost always get something out of the daily readings. This is a significant tool in my recovery.

Comment: Larry Castillo-Wilson, writer for the week of January 24, reminds me what my daddy said when he got after my sister with a switch! "This is going to hurt me more alot more than it's going to hurt you!" Castillo-Wilson suggests that seeking righteousness in our actions and words is not always easy. Despite the discomfort that may result at the moment, it's the right and Biblical thing to do. "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled." This is a thought provoking application of the Sermon on the Mount. I recommend the Disciplines and the Journal that accompanies it.
