Summary: Great Souce of Forms and some philosophy
Comment: I was looking to really get a large amount of Buddhist influencial advice and experiences but that was not the case. The book is really a sourcebook of Tak Wah Eng's own travels and training at Shaolin.

The forms are openly shown and easily picked up by a martial artist with some years of training. This is really great for anyone that wishes to see some of Shaolin's cirriculum. That is the best part of the book.

Athough some information and personal insight is in this book it does help understand the deeper points to training in the arts. Tak Wah Eng is a great teacher and opens his personal journey in the arts to us in this manual for some pages.

I recomend this as another addition to any martial artist's library as it has enough gems in it to warrent value.

Summary: Good book kungfu philosophy and shaolin exercises
Comment: I was originally interested to find a book on the Tiger system. I found this book written by Master Tak Wah Eng. Since Master Tak Wah Eng is an expert in the Tiger system, I thought the focus of this book was going to be on Fu Jow Pai. It turns out the book is about Master Tak's sharing his experience and wisdom. Very good reading material from a well known master.
There are some techniques illustrated but it is not from Fu Jow Pai but mainly from Shaolin system.
The book does not show any applications of the techniques.
Overall it is a great book to read and keep as a reference.
