Editorial Reviews:

Arth Barrett: No-good Irish layabout that does nothing all day every day or monkey-suited superhero of the sixth Dimension travelling the world and his kitchen, across time and through space, fuelled only by his ability to grasp the importance of noting hot beverage additives?

Summary: An amazing book about nothing ! (not Kung Fu related btw)
Comment: Arth Barrett.

Irishman.

Eejit ? Or supergenius ?

A very complex book, quite easy to read but astonishingly difficult to classify. Would certainly appeal to anyone into the Tao (Tao of Pooh for example), or the life of the idle (Lin Yutang).

I had the pleasure of proof reading this book for Kevin, so I will state my interest up front, but I can honestly say that it was one of the most enjoyable books I have read in the last 3 years. It now sits on my bookshelf alongside "The Importance of Living" and "The Analects of Confucius", but it would be equally happy alongside "Jonathan Livingstone Seagull" or any of Bill Bryson's travel books, the Guinness Book Of Records, or the Holy Bible !!

You see my point about it being difficult to classify - what is it about ?

It encompasses the human condition, family life, business, shopping, gorilla suits, children, art (OK, drawing dots on the wall) ..... Kevin should be commended for writing this book, and I should be delighted to pruf reet any further works he cares to shove in my general direction :-)

Sláinte Kevin, and good luck with the book !
