The body’s innate capacity for feeling, intuition, and compassion can enable us to heal our physical and emotional wounds. In The Anatomy of Change, Richard Heckler draws on Aikido and Lomi Body Work to demonstrate how a set of practices can bring new awareness and choice into our daily life.

Customer Rating: Summary: LOVE THIS BOOK Comment: Guess I just found this at the right time. The concepts are clear and the examples help even more to make Heckler's ideas usable to me. Wish I could work with Heckler!
Customer Rating: Summary: A useful, insightful book on the wisdom of the body-mind. Comment: Mr. Heckler clearly and precisely summarizes 5 steps of growth and change. Using anecdotal examples to illustrate how the mind and body reflect one another, he encourages the reader to find their own means of remaining in balance through change. I have found this book helpful in reminding me of the potential riches within the "stuck-ness" of my life. An excellent, simplified presentation of a very timely subject.
