In the LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES ARCHIVES VOL. 7, the mighty teen super-heroes of the 30th century continue to defend the universe from a multitude of menaces and destructive terrors. Containing stunningly reprinted tales from the late 1960s, this astonishing book features the Fatal Five's disastrous return and conquest of Talok VII, a rebellion by the Legion of Super-Pets, the destruction of the Legion's clubhouse, Mantis Morlo's devastating attacks on the Legionnaire's home worlds, and the addition of Rond Valor and Shadow Lass to the group of super-heroes.

Customer Rating: Summary: Some of my favorite Legion stories Comment: I'll admit, I've got a personal bias towards this volume of the "Legion of Super-Heroes" archives -- this book happens to contain the stories that form my first-ever exposure to the Legion. When I was a kid, an uncle of mine gave me a DC Blue Ribbon Digest collecting the stories in which the Legion faced the Fatal Five, recruited Shadow Lass, built their new Headquarters and battled the Dark Circle. Jim Shooter and Curt Swan are responsible for most of the stories in this volume, and did some of their best work here. This book is full of classic, old-fashioned superhero excitement, and while I've been getting the Legion archives since Volume 1, the nostalgia factor alone makes this one my favorite.
