Summary: It's Gravitation
Comment: Art is one thing that throws me off a Manga. And the art is horrible. Though alot more graphic then the Anime (which is upsetting), I think the Anime wins hands down. The Manga is lacking in a few things and it's confusing but still worth it for a Fan of Yaoi.

Summary: Gravitation-the BEST shounen-ai manga ever!!! so dramatic!!!
Comment: I'll start off by saying that Gravi (short for Gravitation) is by far and away the best manga I've ever read. Period. One note, though. This is defenitely a shounen-ai manga, and if you don't know what that means, I'll help you out. It means Guys Love, as in gay relationships. So all you homophobes out there, this is a major no-no.
Anyway, in case you haven't read Gravi, you really suck. Just kidding. The story is, basicly, an 18 year old singer-Shuichi Shindou(or Shu-chan, as I'll call him)-meets a writer-Eiri Yuki-who trashes Shu-chan's lyrics, and many things happen, like Shu-chan meeting his idol, Shu-chan falling in love with Yuki, Shu-chan moving in with Yuki, Shu-chan losing his virginity (hee-hee), and so on. Before volume 4, the story leaves off with Yuki saying that he's going to end their relationship after Shu-chan goes on a game show, and people start to suspect a connection between the two of them.
So, as not to spoil anything, Taki Aizawa (the lead singer of ASK, a competitive band to Bad Luck, Shu-chan's band) does some really horrible things to Shu-chan, who shows his love for Yuki by putting Yuki's reputation before his own. Yes, volume 4 is a big-time tear jerker. In case you don't know, Shu-chan IS a bit of a crybaby, but to see him really cry is rather, well, heart breaking. I found myself crying 2 or 3 times, every time I read it.
I'm not going to tell you the rest-you're going to have to read it on your own to find out what happens. The characters are phenomenal. They care sooo much for each other, and you will care for them just as much. I cannot stress enough what a great manga this is, so go read it yourself. Please enjoy Gravitation for all it's worth, and tell me if this review helped you or not. To all otaku, peace, love, and anime forever.

Summary: Not Funny
Comment: My first comment; if I ever thought the concept of getting gang-banged was funny, I don't anymore. I'm sorry to spoil it, but it happens to Shuichi by, wouldn't you know it... a group of Aizawa's thugs.

Anyway, this is by far the saddest book in the series so far... I've seen parts of the anime and have been able to piece it up enough to know that it gets much sadder, however, as of now, this is the saddest. I actually found myself starting to cry a few times!

Oh; Shuichi is a crybaby, right? Well, when he really cries; I mean REALLY, not just the 'waaaahhh' kind of crying he does so often; it's tear-inducing. It makes you want to hug him...

Another thing; in this book, Hiro and Eiri meet, and when they do... you see just how great a friend Hiro is, and you're surprised by how much Eiri cares, when it seems like he doesn't. Oh, and Tatsuha is cooler than he seems, too. And Shuichi wears a dress. Yes, that's random, but still...

And there's a really cute side-story too; "A Toast to the Nape of Your Neck". ^_^

I hope everyone likes it! I know I did!

Summary: poor shu-chan
Comment: I have read all of the volume out in English and up to volume 7 in Japanese and as of now, I think 4 is my favorite. There's alot of emotion in it and i really think it's nice!

Summary: Shuichi chan!
Comment: I've read all of the mangas to date (1-4), and I gotta say that this is most definately the darkest of them all. At the end of the last volume, Maki Murakami leaves us hanging with Yuki saying "That will be all she wrote. Sayonara." This volume picks up pretty much exactly where we left off, except that Shu chan is now awake. Yuki tells him to move out, and Shuichi is left sad and confused. The break up effects his singing, of course, which is not good for N-G records, and Sakano is left to try and reason with Yuki. Meanwhile, Taki Aizawa, the lead singer of the rival band ASK, has Shuichi raped and takes pictures to use as blackmail. Shuichi doesn't care about himself, but begs them to leave Yuki alone. Hiro is enraged by what they did to Shu chan, so goes and tells Yuki what happened. It turns out, Yuki does have a heart!! Yay! To make a long story short, we finally get Shuichi to dress up like a school girl, and Ayaka is out of the picture. Also, we finally learn the deep dark secret about Yuki's past. This is a really great manga, but not for those with weak constitutions...whatever that means.... Oh!! And they changed Yuki's brother's name!!! Now I'm confused!!! Do I call him Tatsuha or Tatsuho?!?!
