Editorial Reviews:

The samurai Shiro followed his kidnapped love, Lady Yoshiko, across 18th-century Europe and Asia, only to have her slip through his fingers in the fabulous halls of Versailles, where she was stolen away by a villainous Spanish nobleman. Now Shiro's steadfast pursuit leads him across the Mediterranean and to the sands of fabled Egypt, where Yoshiko has been made a prized trophy in a desert warlord's harem. With the glorious ruins of ancient Egypt as a backdrop, Shiro will make a final stand and be reunited with Yoshiko no matter the cost.

Summary: A Great Adventure
Comment: Ron Marz continues to tell a great adventure tale of a Samurai willing to do whatever it takes for the women he loves. Luke Ross' art also continues to be great, with high detail wherever the Samurai roams, as well as easy to follow action. I do think ths story should be read by a more mature audience as Marz and Ross' tale seems to involve more graphic violence and love scenes than the first volume. My only complaint is that it feels like Marz had more story to tell as hinted to by a few art montages that contain enticing images of story untold. I didn't want the story to end and these teases made me feel like we were missing something. That also could have been the author's intent, giving the story a more epic feel while not losing track of the main plot.
