Summary: Read to simplicity
Comment: The book gives people who can't read Chinese the possibility to read into the works of the ancient Yang-style decendants.

By presenting a direct translation of the originals YJM gives you the possibility to read and explain the text - with your own practical experience - to your own opinion. Therefore it gives you the possibility to grow further in your own development. Furthermore it gives directly knowledge of the - for many people not acceptable - origin of Tai Chi, the martial arts. No secrets and flowting techniques, but plain and simpel, right to the point telling where to look in your own Tai Chi.

We make Tai Chi difficult, but it isn't, you just have to train and look the right things, make them your own. The book says where to look.

I agree with the fact that you will need a certain practice experience to understand what is written, but when you read the book several times in the years to come and practice, you will see different things in the text with time.

With the commentaries of YJM over the direct translations I do not always agree, but at least he will put you in the right direction to look. It is impossible to write out, what you have to experience through practice! So buy the book, read several chapters and look for the things in your training.

Time will tell you!
