Customer Rating: Summary: Old "Skool" Kung Fu!! Comment: I was never a Jackie Chan fan,,,I always though of him as too commercial and mechanical. However, after viewing this flick in it's entirety, and with some reservations,,I was pleasantly surprized. I though the choreography and cinematography was well placed. I really enjoyed this movie,,as it was truly entertaining from the start to finish. I must admit,,after checking out this particular flick,,,I find myself profoundly sold, and would possibly entertain future Jackie Chan endeavours!!
Customer Rating: Summary: BEST JACKIE MOVIE EVER, AND PROBABLY HIS FUNNIEST. Comment: This movie does an amazing job of just making everybody look badass.
It's about jackie and his brother tiger, they were orphans and were brought up by a kung fu school. Later on in life, they have a lion dance and tiger gets hurt right before it and jackie(dragon) has to be his replacement, yet in the competition he notices his brother competing for the rival school, he can't believe this, so tiger leaves and dragon has to bring him back, but his brother has become a bad guy.
I will now go over some of the best fights in kung fu history, AND THEY ARE ALL ON THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Breaking master out of jail.
Jackie 2 on 1 as an old man.
Funny sword fight.
LI-LI_LI-LI-LI-LI-LI-LI-HOTTIE!!!!!!!
Bench fight
Pipe fight(that's the king's pipe)
Oh yeah, the end fight is pretty good too
Now I don't know what version this is, because they don't have a freaking picture of it, but I have the 86 min version phhh, while the 86er is still one of my favorite movies ever, I would like to see the 106 min version that is out there.
This movie seriously ranks as one of the top ten kung fu movies ever. AND IT IS THE GREATEST KUNG FU COMEDY EVER. But to see another 20 min of this movie qould be a collector like me's dream come true.
So definitely find out what version this is, or if you only got like 5 bucks to spend on it get the cut up version like I had.
Also this movie has my favorite dubbed line ever:::::
Master----why, why did you betray us
Tiger-----because master, I betrayed you, I'm leaving now
Now it doesn't get better than that does it.
Customer Rating: Summary: Early Jackie Chan mastery Comment: One of Jackie Chan's earliest films, the Young Master is a great example of his burgeoning comedic and fighting talents. The story is of a student kicked out of his school and Jackie's quest to find him. Don't be put off by the old school quality of this film as it is paced fairly well unlike many films of this period. The fight with the fan, the lion dance at the beginning, and the final action sequence with Whang Inn-Sik are three highlights here. The DVD quality is okay, but the film quality is pretty poor due to its age and its storage in Hong Kong. A good triple feature viewed alongside Drunken Master and Fearless Hyena. Recommended.
