Summary: Incredible
Comment: I am a huge mixed martial arts fan. At the time I first saw this DVD I thought it was easilly the best MMA event I had ever seen. I have seen some great ones since then. Return of the Warrior is still the best.

Summary: Pride 10
Comment: Pride 10 is the best Pride available on tape. It is much bigger and better than any UFC. Ive seen every UFC and they dont come near to Pride. The only boring fight is the first one with Victor Belfort. All the others are very exciting with Metzger/Silva, Yzel/Goodridge, Gracie/tokimitsu and Shamrock/Fujita being the best. Full of action and very entertaining. Buy this tape if you you are looking for a action packed event with interviews, backstage stuff and bigtime production.

Summary: Slugfest at Seibu Dome
Comment: If you want to see some the world's greatest mixed martial artists throw heavy leather, this is a great tape for you.The sport of mixed martial arts is always evolving, with different styles and strategies battling for dominance. Recently, stand-up striking has re-emerged as a crucial weapon, with even the most sophisticated grapplers drawing on punches and kicks as a way to control and finish fights.
This Pride event clearly shows how successful many of these artists have become at developing truly hybrid styles. It also features what is perhaps the final and definitive fight in a long and one-sided struggle between Kazushi Sakuraba and the Gracie family.
Here are some of the attractions:
Guy Mezger v. Vanderlei Silva: a war between two classy fighters
Ryan Gracie, the black sheep of the Gracie family, against newcomer Ishizawa: a taste of "Gracie in Action"
Vitor Belfort v. Daijiro Matsui: Vitor has some of the most dangerous fists in the business, but Matsui is really tough.
Gilbert Yvel v. Gary Goodridge: who says kickboxing is outmoded?
Ricco Rodriguez v. Giant Ochiai: Rodriguez is a BJJ artist being trained by Mark Kerr - enough said on that. Hope to see more of him.
Enson Inoue v. Igor Vovchanchyn: Igor may be the best heavyweight in the world today, and he shows how he got there. Enson is one of the most aggressive and powerful BJJ fighters out there.
Mark Kerr is back against Sambo fighter Borisov Igor: can Kerr climb his way back to the top?
Ken Shamrock, perennial crowd favorite, is back against Fujita, a guy who lists a win over Mark Kerr in his record. Great fight.
Finally, Kazushi Sakuraba, currently at the very pinnacle of this sport, takes on perhaps the greatest Gracie fighter still competing regularly, Renzo Gracie. Two very technical fighters in a real chess match. Definitely worth seeing.
Overall, this tape is packed with great fights; its a great show and a great value.

Summary: Vale Tudo At It's Finest - Pride Blows UFC Away
Comment: Being a practicioner of vale tudo myself, I know better than your average fan what makles for a good vale tudo fight, and when you're seeing good fights or a big fat bore. Believe me, you won't get much better than PrideFC - Return Of The Warriors. For those not in the know, Pride is the definite NHB fighting event. It's the big leagues. It's bigger than the UFC, Pride is for NHB fighting, what the WWF is to pro wrestling. The biggest and best.
The fight card consists of these matches....
Kazushi Sakuraba Vs. Renzo Gracie - This is the main event. An awesome see saw match up, that should really have had a no time limit, or at least more rounds like the Royce Gracie vs Kazushi Sakuraba fight. The ending of this fight will surprise you!
Ken Shamrock Vs. Kazuyuki Fujita - Good action, however a little dissapointing ...
Mark Kerr Vs. Borisov Igor - Mark Kerr is a very humble and appreciative fighter, his effort reflects this in this fight.
Enson Inoue Vs. Igor Vovchanchyn - Igor shows all he can wrestle as well as he can punch
Ricco Rodriquez Vs. "Giant" Ochlal - A short fight, but won by submission, surprisingly, the loser taps out rather quickly from the submmission hold applied.
Gilbert Yvel Vs. Gary Goodridge - Surprise knockout of Pride10! I won't spoil it for you, but you won't see another knockout like this for many years to come!
Vitor Belfort Vs. Daljiro Matsui - Belfort's questionable conditioning is second to none in this fight, he punches and punches and punches on the ground and still has gas in the tank. A bit of a one dimensional fight, but lots of blood!
Ryan Gracie Vs. Tokimitsu Ishizawa - Another quickie. ... Great pummeling towards the end!
Guy Mezger Vs. Vanderlei Silva
- Awesome hard faught fight. A couple of world class athletes show you what fighting should be like.
Unlike Pride GP 2000, the macthes are back to the standard 1 on 1 match format as opposed to a tournament, which has it's good points and bad points.
In this fight, Renzo takes on Kazushi, who has previously defeated both Royler and Royce Gracie, and after this fight... you'll be wanting to see the match nobody has yet seen, the immortal Rickson Gracie vs the inventive and sneaky Kazushi Sakuraba.
