Editorial Reviews:

This magazine is written for automotive enthusiasts and emphasizes cars and driving blended with wide-ranging feature stories, entertainment and event coverage. Its road tests run the gamut of domestic and imported sports cars and sports sedans. Additionally, it features technical articles on automotive subjects, nostalgic feature articles, humor and fiction and analysis of industry trends along with travel stories, book reviews and coverage of international racing events.

Summary: Road & Track
Comment: I don't recommend! I ordered on 30 June, as of 31 July I have not received a single copy

Summary: The BEST automotive magazine available!
Comment: I first picked up an issue of R&T; at the news stand when I was in the sixth grade. I was always into models, Lego's, drafting and other technical hobbies and the detail sheet in R&T;'s reviews fascinated me with all the stats and the cutaway drawing of the vehicle- it still looks very similar today, thirteen years later due to the great layout.

The journalists, photographers, artists and editors at Road & Track are leaps & bounds ahead of the staff at MotorTrend or Car&Driver; (I subscribe to all three, but if I could have only one it would easily be R&T;). They frequently have guest writers and racers help with articles and reviews, which is a plus. And one of the things I like most is very little SUV/Truck coverage.

Summary: Always a great read!
Comment: But the mag! It's less than a buck a month! How could you go wrong???

Summary: A Technological Tour de Force!
Comment: Road and Track is like the tortise and the hare. It doesn't move with lighting speed from trend to trend as some other publications. But its slow and methodical evolution yeilds a contemporary classic. It's format and photography are faultless. The editorials are engaging, particularly Peter Egan's. And no one can match the prowess of technical editor Dennis Semantis. Quite possibly the best automotive magazine in the industry.

Summary: The magazine to see the cars you can't afford
Comment: Road & Track is arguably the best automotive magazine out there. It has the best photography, and covers a wide range of intriguing cars. It provides excellent coverage of the latest from Ferarri and Porche, along with great articles on classic race cars.
Where R&T; slacks, however, is on its coverage of every day cars. Your not going to find too much about the Ford Focus in this magazine.
If you are looking for a magazine to learn about the standard cars on the auto market, go for Motor Trend, but if you are looking for a magazine that covers exotic cars the car-lovers way, this is the magazine for you
