Summary: Helps minimize water seepage.
Comment: This threshold works well. When it rains hard, the rain water leaks through my garage door's bottom seal. After adding this threshold, the water leaks have minimized greatly.

Summary: Sturdy, easy to install
Comment: I used this to create a threshold and a weatherstrip for a garage side door. I cut a section and attached it to the bottom of the door with stainless steel screws, then cut a matching section and attached it to the concrete floor, using the adhesive provided. I aligned the two lips so that they formed a seal. This worked because the distance between door bottom and the concrete floor (which had no threshold) was a full inch, and no ordinary threshold-weatherstrip combination would cover this large of a gap. The adhesive that came with the Storm Shield worked fine.

Summary: Stop runoff into your garage
Comment: What a great product! It really stopped the rain from rolling down into my garage and diverted it expertly away.

Summary: Nice Threshold, Poor Glue
Comment: Unlike some other reviewers, my threshold came with a full caulk-gun-sized tube of adhesive. I washed the garage floor as directed and let it dry. I laid out the threshold and marked the inner and outer edges with a pencil. I applied the adhesive in two straight lines plus a zig zag pattern as suggested in the instructions. I found the adhesive VERY hard to squeeze from the tube. Laying the glue took 10 or 15 minutes, and my hands hurt the next day. The threshold was rolled up inside the box, which left a curve in the rubber. As I laid the threshold on the glue, one end had a pretty big upwards bend in it, which made it difficult to seat properly in the glue. I placed bricks on the threshold to try and hold it down while the glue dried. It looked like everything worked, but now that the heavy rains have started, I am getting leakage under the threshold. I recommending laying the threshold out straight for a couple of days before installing it. Put some heavy stuff on it to try and straighten it out. Buy your own tube of high-quality construction adhesive and even consider sealing the front edge with silicone as others have said. I'll be trying to remove mine next summer and either reinstalling (if it can be saved) or trying again with a new one. Seems like the threshold itself is pretty good, but the glue and installation instructions left me disappointed with my still-leaky garage.

Summary: DOES NOT WORK THAT GOOD
Comment: AS OTHER REVIEWERS HAVE SAID BUY SOME ADDITIONAL GLUE/SEALER TO PUT THE STORM SHEILD DOWN, THERE IS NOT ENOUGH PROVIDED AND YOU MUST HAVE THE GLUE WHEN YOU START GLUING THE THRESHOLD TO THE GARAGE FLOOR. EASY TO PUT DOWN AND CUT BUT DOES NOT STOP WATER FROM COMING INTO THE GARAGE.... IF YOU ARE BUYING THIS PRODUCE TO STOP WATER FROM COMING INTO YOUR GARAGE, DON'T DO IT, THIS THRESHOLD WILL NOT DO THE JOB. YOU NEED TO BUY SOMETHING THAT IS MUCH THICKER/TALLER/HIGHER IT IS THE RIGHT WIDTH AND THE RIGHT LENGTH BUT NOT HIGH ENOUGH TO STOP WATER FROM COMING INTO THE GARAGE. THIS IS WHY I GAVE THE THRESHOLD A 3, NICE TRY BUT NO CIGAR.....
