Customer Rating: Summary: Fascinating Treatment of an Ancient Weapon from an American Kenpo Perspective Comment: Ed Parker applies the genius of American Kenpo theory in this treatis of the Nunchaku. Parker deomnstrated basics such as stances and grips, to the importance of breathing, and the nunchaku as an extention of naturak American Kenpo weapons. An interesting blend between the traditional (Okinawan) and modern (American Kenpo). Parker's perspective tends to be practical--no fancy Bruce Lee moves to dazzle. Recommended for Kobudo stylists and employees of law enforcement agencies who utilize nunchaku.
