We've had it for several months now and it DOES NOT look like a cheese grater or have major chunks missing. This is a VERY DURABLE frisbee. My dog is not a voracious chewer but he's got big teeth and a strong jaw and he chewed all the other ones to pieces within a few days but this one really holds up.
