Summary: An Honest Review by Acevedo Hapkido Academy
Comment: The book, "HAPKIDO II", by Grandmaster He-Young Kimm is in essence the same book as, "HAN MU DO", also by the same author. The only major difference between the books is that the "HAPKIDO II" has the history of Hapkido and the "HAN MU DO" has the history of Han Mu Do. The rank requirements in both books are the same and are for Han Mu Do rank and not for Hapkido rank. The book or books (being that it is essentially the same) do lack some of the most important aspects of the art, that being the forms, both empty-hand and weapon and the breaking requirements. Overall the book is very well written and the photos are excellent. Highly recommended for the serious student of Korean martial arts.
