There is no more respect. It’s on and this time it’s personal. The undercard features such UFC stars as Andrei Arlovosk, Cabbage Corriera, Robbie Lawler, Yves Edwards, Hermes Franca and Genki Sudo. A total of 8 exciting fights. UFC 48: In the main event, hall of famer Ken Shamrock meets Hawaiian fighting legend Kimo in a rematch of their battle 8 years earlier. The co-main event is a battle for the UFC Heavyweight Championship between former champion Tim Sylvia and top submission fighter Frank Mir. The undercard features such UFC stars as Phil Baroni, Evan Tanner, Matt Hughes, "Charuto" Verissimo, Georges T. Pierre and Matt Hughes.
Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Two Great Events, One Low Price Comment: These UFC fight packs that put two payperview events in one set are a great value. UFC 47 pits Tito Ortiz against Chuck Liddell. This was a much anticipated fight and the event was electric. UFC 48 has Shamrock taking on Kimo. The best part of this dvd might be the co-main event, with Tim Sylvia and Frank Mir fighting for the UFC Heavyweight title. Both of these dvds had some important outcomes that carried over to future events. As usual, each dvd comes with special behind the scenes footage of the fighters and the event. Good deal for a UFC fan if you haven't seen these fights yet. Customer Rating: Summary: the first cd was scratched, and one of the fights wouldn't play. Comment: it was a good buy, but one of the bouts in 47 wouldn't play, on my computer, a dvd player, or a ps2. frustrating, but I'm over it. More Reviews
