Summary: Whizzin' One at Ya
Comment: For years, I have been a collector of all things Ninja. I don't know what it is about those guys, but they always seem to have it together. From the black tight-fittin' gowns they wear all the way down to those split-toed slippers - I think they're just about the coolest thing to come out of Japan since Maalox. I've always had a thing for Japanese stuff. I even got Wanda to make me one them outfits outta an old black mumu she ate herself outta wearin'. (those Mrs. Winners sausage cups are gonna be the death of her) The suit fits pretty good, with the exception of the left arm gauntlet - that was the part of the mumu that housed her FUPA and it's all stretched out and discolored . . . Oh well, can't have it all.

And throwing stars . . . I buy 'em by the gallon. There's nothing I like better than to roll outta bed, kick open the back screen door, draw a bead on a squirrel or housecat, and let one fly. I usually miss, but I'm gettin' better. (knocked the cap offa the mail man's head last week, proud of that)

The funny thing is, he was deliverin' this throwing star book when I chunked one at him! Weird.

I've had the book for about a week now and I have to say it's one of the best out there. I propped a Pabst can up on an old washing machine I had been meaning to take a look at and stepped back about fifteen paces. (I find fifteen paces is about as close as a varmint, or stranger, will let me get before they realized I'm carrying a bucket of throwing stars and run off) After reading just the cover of the book, I was able to wizz a star to within an inch of hitting the can. That's a lot closer than I had been gettin' before I got the book! After opening the book and reading the title page, I was able to tear a small hole on the far right side of the can.(excited) Then I really got down on it . . .

I'm not much of a reader, but I sucked it up and read the first page. Guess what, I reached into that bucket of stars, pulled one out, and chucked it at that Pabst can . . . Success!! That thing sheered off the entire top of the can, kept going and stuck itself in the side of that OTHER washing machine I've also been meanin' to take a look at. (I can only imagine what these things would do to a tresspasser's knoggin')

That's real progress. I've been readin' a page at a time and chunking these stars all day and night since I got the book. I figure that, along with many repeated viewings of Ninja Four, The Return will have me in good shape by springtime.

This book'll make a Ninja outta me yet!
