Plot: A hapless bodyguard is fired from his client's son for the death of his clients father. The son is then hunted by assassins who do not want him to inherit his fathers company. Written and starring Petchtai Wongkamlao ("Dirty Balls" in Ong Bak) the film also has a cameo by Tony Jaa!
Synopsis: The bodyguard, directorial debut of veteran Tai action comedian, Petchtai Wongkamlao is a side splitting satire about the life of hapless personal bodyguard Wongkom, who fails to protect his change, the Kingdom's most successful businessman, Choti Petchpantakarn. Meanwhile Wongkom is being hunted by a gang of clumsy hitmen intent on wresting control of the petchpantakarn fortune and eliminating all who stand in their way! Will good overcome evil, will we find out who is behind it all, will Wongkon get the girl, and redeem himself? All this and more is revealed in a riotous climax packed with action and a liberal dose of Thai Humour. The Bodyguard is the film that all fans of Ong-Bak are dying to see.
