Summary: A godsend for chemo and steroid wrecked skin!
Comment: I have been undergoing chemo for breast cancer with the accompanying steroids. After having little to no acne as a teenager and clear skin up to now, the massive breakouts of red pimples and white heads was difficult to deal with. I had noticed when I slept in the Bare Escentials makeup my skin seemed to be slightly better the next day so I decided to give this a shot. Having a science background I have to admit I was somewhat skeptical but decided it wouldn't hurt and could help... well it did. The night after I used it first time (and again lightly under my make-up the next day) I washed my face and after glancing in the mirror wet it again figuring I hadn't gotten all the make up off!!! All the red and about 80 of the acne was gone! Including the white heads! I have used it since and can tell you the difference in my skin is nothing short of amazing. It is actually less sensitive (probably because of the lack of acne) and the smaller pimples have stayed gone. I would say that it is hovering around the 85 to 90% gone without any redness. It also works well on the decolletage area that was broken out as well as the added benefit of giving you a bit of make up coverage during bed time (bonus!)
As far as the colors go... they don't match up with the Bare Minerals foundations, they are a bit yellower. I am a fairly light and the clear is perfect. I would say whatever you are go for that if it's the same or go to the shade lighter. Also I found that sort of patting it on worked better than trying to buff it on. I have the Dior catwalk blush with the same type of applicator which you really can buff on, but this one is stiffer and not very soft (remember my skin is somewhat sensitive now- it may not bother you). The patting does perfectly fine as it comes out in a fine puff- you don't need to use alot, just a light dusting. I use a brush at the end to sort of even it out- but also not strictly necessary.

Summary: SO FAR SO GOOD...
Comment: I have been using this product for 2 days and have already noticed my face looks much more refined, pores less noticable and less flaky skin. I use a retinol so my skin can tend to flake but this has helped and it has only been 2 days. I am excited to see what other benefits come out of it since I am hoping to get my moneys worth since it's so dang expensive!

Summary: made my acne worse!
Comment: i've been using bare escentuals mineral foundation and other products for over a year now and i have been very happy with them. i have oily skin and i tend to break out, so when i read the glowing reviews on the be rareminerals skin revival treatment, i thought i would give it a try.
i used the product as directed every night for over a month. my acne is worse than it was before. i now have more cystic acne than i've had in years. i didn't change anything else in my skincare routine, so i'm pretty confident that the skin revival treatment is the cause. i will continue to use other be products, but i definitely wasted my money on this one.

Summary: Nothing short of amazing
Comment: I have never been compelled to write about a beauty product before, but I had to give a rave review about Bare Escentuals RareMinerals Skin Revival Treatment. I've been using this product for about 9 months now, and it is the best thing I have ever used on my skin. I have had terrible problem skin for years now and nothing has worked, including expensive laser therapy, oral medications and microdermabrasion. Then I started using this product (as well as the Bare Escentuals regular bare minerals makeup) and now I use just this in lieu of foundation most days. My skin has cleared up. It is no longer so sensitive, oily or breaking out. I don't have lesions any more. The scars I have from past problems are slowly disappearing.
I am so happy with the changes in my skin. I've switch to inexpensive cleansers and treatments (Biore's ice anti-blemish and Neutrogena's 3 in 1 acne stress control - each about $6) and my skin is the best it has been in I can't even say how long.

Summary: RareMinerals Skin Revival Treatment -- DOES NOTHING
Comment: I wanted this product to work. I found the literature compelling and the reviews encouraging. It was acclaimed at Sephora. I used it faithfully every night. Now that my jar is empty, I have to say that this product just simply did nothing. It was as though I wasn't even using a product. NO RESULTS WHATSOEVER.
