Summary: Another great season of The Simpsons
Comment: This DVD set is great. You get all of the seasons episodes on 4 discs. Every episode has commentary and you get to see some good deleted scenes and extras. This season has one of my favorite episodes, "Homer's Enemy". I much prefer seasons like this to the new episodes on Sundays.

Summary: Amazing Season
Comment: Season 7 and 8 were both steps in the right direction. Yes, occasionally I laughed out loud at earlier seasons ("Cute, the baby's driving the car. Oh and over there, the dog's driving the bus" "Ahhhhhh!"), but 7th and 8th seasons both became much funnier and had more substance. I loved in "Homer Vs. the 18th Amendment". It showed that although Homer is hilarious, he's not a complete idiot. I got a little bored in earlier seasons when everything was so predictable. It got boring. But now, the Simpsons took old jokes (the ones that get funnier every time they use them), and mixed them with new stuff, making this season amazing. Slightly worse than 7th season, but maybe I'm only saying that because of the unforgettable "Lisa the Vegetarian" (my all time favorite episode). I also think that in the past few seasons we've seen much more Troy McClure, probably my favorite non-regular character.

Overall, great season, recommend it...very much so.

Summary: Season 8 is #1! In your face space coyote
Comment: Season 8 is one of the best seasons for the simpsons. Most people think that by this season the shows quality started to dip. That was because of futurama, but when thy went out of the picture, the show came roaring back. Anyway, this season has the ever so funny X-files spoof and hurricane episode. Buy this season!!!!! You won't regret it.

Summary: Another Of The Simpsons Seasons Remembered Fondly
Comment: This is one of the other seasons I will always remember greatly. We had the episode of Sideshow Bob's brother Cecil coming to Springfield to pull a scam as well as trying to kill Bart Simpson to show up his brother and failing badly. The reason I thought was great as it actually had Kesley Grammer(Voice of Sideshow Bob)and David Hyde Pierce(Voice of Cecil)who played brothers on the hit show Frasier and to hear them do the same on the Simpsons episode was hilarious. You also had the memorable episode of when after Bart gets accidentally drunk Prohibition is enforced in Springfield forcing Homer to after a while commit bootlegging as well as matching wits with the new federal agent. There are too many in this season to list as great as they were forever ingrained in my memories as
being on of the few great times of the Simpsons so I say if your going
to just get one Simpson set this is probably the one to get...

Summary: D'oh! I love the Season 8!
Comment: Yeah, its great. When I first got it, it was because it had two episodes I had seen on the plane home from England to Los Angeles to New Zealand. I resulted in watching the episodes that included Bart meeting his mad Siamese twin who is intent on sewing them together again, Homer causes a new person at his work to go mad and electrocute himself while saying "What's this? Extremely high voltage? Well, I don't need safety gloves, because I'm Homer Simp-", Milhouse's parents divorce, and so on. There are great songs in this such as "The Spring in Springfield", "Happy Just the Way We Are" and "Minimum Wage Nanny". I especially like the episode when Ned Flanders yells at Springfield and says a whole lot of mean things. He yells at Marge that her family's out of control, he gets mad at Bart, he says Lisa interrupts all the time, he says Krusty the Klown isn't funny.
