This compact refrigerator is a perfect fit for offices and dorm rooms alike or where ever a standard size refrigerator won't possibly fit. At under 20 inches high, it fits perfectly beneath a counter for your personal bar. At a 1.7 cubic foot capacity, it even has a small freezer for making ice or storing a couple of pints of gelato. If you're seeking a compact fridge for whatever reason, the Haier HNSB02 is perfectly suited for a variety of conditions. It offers flexible shelving and door compartments. Summary: Great Fridge - Just Be Careful with Shipping
Comment: The refrigerator works very well. As per the instructions make sure to wait 24 hours before turning it on. It arrived without damage and keeps the temperature just fine. Noise level is acceptable (nothing amazing, but its not bad either).
The packaging is in fact attrocious. There is literally no foam padding of any kind. Amazon packs its books better than Haier packs its fridge. Only order if you have Amazon Prime - upgrade it to overnight shipping ($3.99) and your order is unlikely to arrive with any damage. The less time in shipping, the less likely you are to see damage.
Other than that, this is a great mini-fridge especially given the price.

Comment: I purchased this refrigerator for our office. As I had read in other reviews it was a little noisy. It was incredibly noisy. You could not talk when it cycled on. I left work on Wednesday, October 8th and returned to the office on October 14th to find the refrigerator had stopped working. All the milk products had turned sour and spoiled.
Don't buy this item.

Comment: I bought this refrigerator from Best Buy. The packaging was fine. However there has been a strange odor - chemical might be the right description from day 1. This is before I put bottled water inside, which is all it has ever had. I'm seriously concerned it's some kind of poisonous gas and will probably return.
