Summary: Awsome!
Comment: I live in a rural mountain area with no cell towers in sight and only one bar maybe (Verizon), especially inside my mobile home. I had very limited voice and text service from two windows in my trailer with the 0 to 1 bar. Placed the antenna outside on mudroom 11 feet away from trailer siding and 3 feet away from the metal roof on the mudroom. Wah.... la! I have service from one end of my trailer to the other and even on my front deck (mudroom is on other side of trailer), which I never had before. I now have 1 bar throughout; however, service is really good! I use my cell phone for business, because I work in the field. So this now allows me to use my cell phone at home for business.... and personal. I may drop my land line and satellite internet if I can get Verizon internet thru this booster! If that works, it will be a $150 per month savings! Well worth it. As it is now, it is worth it just to be able to use our cell phones at home!

Summary: Exactly as expected
Comment: This will extend your wireless coverage by rebroadcasting the signal in an unreached area. The only reason I gave this product 4 stars and not five is the installation is not straight forward plug & play. It does take some finesse & finagling. A reminder that this is an extender and not a creator. It cannot extend what you do not have. I recommend this product.

Summary: This item performs poorly
Comment: I'm and electrical engineer. I followed the installation instructions carefully using only the included equipment. And I was careful to get adequate separation between the unit and the external antenna. Even the diagnostics on the unit itself indicate that it should be a good installation. But the unit only works off and on with the result that calls fade in and out - even if you aren't moving around the house. It happens if you are sitting right next to the unit. The call quality ends up not being improved.
I called customer service while trying to debug it and they told me that that you can't tell anything from the flashing lights on the front of the unit. That flashing or not flashing was all normal. From this I concluded that all of their units have problems and only work intermittently.
I may have a faulty unit, but I just wouldn't recommend this item. It is a lot of money and doesn't very well.

Summary: Does the job!
Comment: We have a small 4 person office.. Few if any calls have been received on our cell phones.. We placed the antenna on the peak of the outside roof and installed the inside part on a wall above the front door (inside).. So far everybody's cell phone works fine! No dropped calls or calls failed..
I advise purchasing this product if you have a signal outside the building..

Summary: A signal 20 feet underground
Comment: I was very impressed by this Cell Phone Booster. I live in an underground, concrete dome home. Getting a cell phone signal in the house was all but impossible unless I stood outside on the porch or by a front window. With this wireless booster, I know have a signal through all 5000 square feet. It isn't an overwhelmingly strong signal throughout the house, but it works. I don't need 5 bars to make a call. Just one will do. And you live in a place that doesn't get even get that, you appreciate every bit of signal you can get.
I used an existing cable that ran from the interior of the house to the "roof". Our roof is about 10-15" feet deep of earth. On the roof I planted a six foot tall post, zip-tied the antenna and cable to it and went back into the house. Attached the other end of the cable to the booster, turned it on, and I had a signal inside a concrete and steel structure 20 feet underground. Very cool!
I highly recommend this booster.
