Summary: Highly Recommended
Comment: A classic. First person account of some of the originators of the art. Opinionated and has an obvious personal bias (Thank goodness for some honesty !). Some of the stories are hilarious as well as illuminating and insightful. The story about Rube Goldberg vs. an Aikido master is almost worth the price of the book. Too many of the present day martial artists take themselves too seriously. A look at this book could help show them the humor and humanity that the martial arts really contain.

Oh, yeah. It does contain a pretty interesting information on philosophy, techniques and information on martial arts.....
