Mr. M.J. Clapton was a pupil of Senta Yamada 6th Dan Aikido. When Yamada left the U.K. Mr. Clapton continued to teach at two of Yamada's clubs. He later taught in other Aikido dojos in other parts of Britain and studied with three Japanese masters, notably Hiroto Kogure. This book deals with one of the Katas of the Tomiki-Style of Aikido, plus combinations and variations relative to the techniques of that Kata for use in either randori or free-style practise (ka kari geiko).
