Customer Rating: Summary: Quite Useful Comment: I have been taking the Korean martial art Hapkido for close to five years now. In the course of studying, I have found this book's descriptions of techniques and photos quite useful in the learning process. It is not a perfect book and don't expect to learn the martial art from it. However, it has been of use to both myself and my instructors in helping to recall specific techniques in a series and how to execute them. The presence of an instructor can greatly add to the usefulness of this volume as the person can better grasp the techniques described. Therefore, I give it a mostly positive recommendation for those wanting to improve self defense techniques in this particular martial art.
