Editorial Reviews:

Eighteen of the best mixed martial arts fighters, nine Heavyweights and nine Welterweights, have come from around the world to Las Vegas with one dream... to be named The Ultimate Fighter and given a contract in the Ultimate Fighting Championship organization.

During the competition, two world-renowned UFC champions, Matt Hughes and Rich Franklin, will train the fighters. The men will endure a grueling regimen of jiu-jitsu, judo, Muay Thai, karate, boxing and wrestling. The intense competition between the fighters will continue after they leave the gym, at The Ultimate Fighter House. These warriors will be forced to live with each other, knowing that any day they could be forced to fight each other in the UFC Octagon.

In each episode, the teams will compete in a physical challenge to determine who will have to fight. Legendary UFC Champion and Season One coach Randy Couture will design these challenges. They will combine old school training techniques with tests of brute strength. Once the opponents are chosen, the fight is on. They will train, weigh-in and face-off in three five minute rounds. At the end of each week, one fighter from each team must fightin the Octagon to avoid being kicked out of the UFC Training Center until only two remain in each weight division.

In the end, The Ultimate Fighter will be decided by a competition match -- a head-to-head fight to the finish inside the Octagon.

The Ultimate Fighter 2 also includes fighter profiles,behind-the-scenes footage and the best and worst of the Ultimate Fighter auditions

Summary: One of the best TUF Seasons....
Comment: There was a LOT of good talent on season two of The Ultimate Fighter. And, I'll admit it, this is what got me into mma and the UFC in particular. They had some great personalities (Joe Stevenson, Luke Cummo), some great coaching (Matt Hughes, Rich Franklin), and some great fights. With fighters like Keith Jardine, Rashad Evans, Josh Burkman, and Marcus Davis (among others) it's worth watching this season in large part because you'll find more significance in what's going on in the UFC today. And besides that, the show was just more entertaining back then. When it aired, I looked forward to it every week and was never disappointed.

Summary: Simply Amazing
Comment: This was an excellent season of The Ultimate Fighter. I like this one better than most because the talent level of everyone on the show was astounding. I missed this season when it originally aired so it was great to see all the MMA personalities before seeing them fight in the UFC>

Summary: TUF Season 2
Comment: I had seen this season on tv, but found it extremely difficult to find on dvd. Everything was excellent, being uncensored always makes things better too. Would recommend to anyone who is a fan of the UFC or The Ultimate Fighter. Thanks Amazon.com for coming thru with the product...

Summary: Very Good
Comment: Although not as good as Seasons 2 and 3, this is a really good edition. If you see no other fight, you MUST see the Bonnar/Griffin fight. One of the best ever in the UFC. There is a surprise at the end of their fight but I won't spoil it.
