For the first time ever, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are leaping right off the comic book pages! This series of action figures is based on the original Eastman/Laird comic art from the 1980's. All four Turtles feature their original red masks and come with their trademark weapons: Leonardo (with katana), Michelangelo (with Nunchucks), Raphael (with Sai), and Donatello (with bo staff). Display bases are not included.

Customer Rating: Summary: BEST Toys Ever! Comment: I wish these had come out when I was a kid. These are so cool. I have waited a long time for these and they are perfect. The weapons are great, the poses are great. LOVE these guys. Customer Rating: Summary: The turtles the way they should be.. Comment: The turtle figures are extremely detailed and have many points of articulation. They can be posed in so many different ways that you will not tire easily with this set. The color for the figures are extremely accurate in comaprison to the original graphic novel (at least the covers of the books since those were black and white comics). You do have to be careful though since the plastic of the weapons are sligthly unforgiving ( I broke one of Leonardo's katanas within 15 minutes). Also note that this set only contains the turtles and their primary weapons. There are individual sets that contain more weapons as well as a decorative base. However, I don't think you'll need all that. This set will live on your home office / cubicle/ workstation for a long time to come. Customer Rating: Summary: Not actually a toy Comment: These shouldn't be in the toy section, but where else do you put them? These aren't meant for little kids to play with, they're for "serious" collectors, i.e. grown men who collect comic books. These are based on a bloody and violent comic book for adults , not the children's cartoon show. Try looking up products by Playmates if you're looking for something a kid would want. I bought this set specifically at my grandson's request. Within minutes of receiving and playing with it, small parts began to break. For example, the loops that should have been sturdy enough to allow removal & repacement of the "swords" simply detached from the body of one of the figures. My child was extremely disappointed, lost interest in playing with the set and asked why I bought him something that fell apart as soon as he started playing with it. I believe I should be entitled to a refund.
