Customer Rating: Summary: It does the job Comment: Pros: Uses just 20 watts (measured with a "Watts Up?"). No wall-wort (as opposed to some LED lamps). Easily adjustable. Base has some desk organizer features. Cons: Probably not bright enough for a large desk. Takes a couple of seconds to turn on fully. As with all fluorescents, has some mercury in the bulb, so disposal will be more of a concern (but hopefully many years away). Overall: Perfect for a kid's room with a medium-sized desk.
