Do you ever find yourself tired of all the negativity on television? It can be so depressing. Constant political He said/She said bickering, Global Warming, Gas Prices. According to the News, there isnt anything positive happening in the world.
This uplifting and inspiring documentary battles todays negative media, reminding us what were capable of, if only we set our minds to it. Dedication is an eye opening film that re-introduces us to the notion that everyone is capable of great things if you are willing to sacrifice and work hard for it.
Dedication centers on the 2008 Beijing Olympics. What does it take to represent your country and compete to the best in the world? In the middle of one of Chinas coldest winters, Beijing and the Olympic athletes prepare for the Summer Games. With this winter backdrop, Dedication takes us on a journey through Chinas history and culture, so we can better understand why it is their athletes are sacrificing everything to represent their people and traditions.
The Chinese Womans Tae Kwon Do team has dominated the sport since its debut in the 2000 Olympics. With footage of their training and exclusive interviews, we discover the phenomenons Luo Wei and Chen Zhong; winning an Olympic gold medal 5 years after first learning the sport. It is only through the highest level of perseverance and determination can such an amazing feat be accomplished.
