Ozawa Cup International Karate Tournament

ON-LINE REGISTRATION

Dear Friends and Supporters of Karate:

            I would like to cordially invite you to participate in the Ozawa Cup International Karate Tournament.  Enjoy four exciting days of Competition, Seminars & Master’s Demonstrations to be held at the Flamingo Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada USA on April 17 thru 20, 2003.

            The purpose of this Tournament as conceived by Shihan Ozawa, is and always will be, to gather all people from the traditional karate world under one roof regardless of organizational affiliation or style, to come together and get to know each other, leaving differences outside the Tournament and instead, work together for the purpose of promoting karate-do.

            This year, many top-ranking Instructors and top-level Competitors from around the world will join us.  High-quality Seminars and amazing Demonstrations will be performed by the following instructors:  Takayuki Mikami, Teruo Chinen, Fumio Demura, Shinyu Gushi, Masayuki Shimabukuro, John Fonseca, Tommy Hood and Barbara “Maile” Chinen. 

            There will also be a Tournament Dinner Reception for all Athletes, Instructors and families on Friday, April 18, 2003 at 7:30 PM.  A Photo Shoot conducted by Bill Bly and an Autograph Signing session will be a part of the Dinner Reception.  There will also be a Farewell Party Celebration with music and dancing Saturday evening, April 19 at 7:30 PM and an Easter Egg Hunt for all children ages 12 and under on Sunday, April 20 at 8:30 AM.  Prizes inside the eggs will include coins, candies, and coupons for free Tournament t-shirts and from the many vendors, etc.

We try to make this a fun filled occasion for everyone and we hope that you can join us in this exciting 4-day event and also have a wonderful family vacation in Las Vegas, the entertainment capital of the world.
